Ahmed Musa mopped by fans at Abuja central mosque (see photos)

Important member of the Nigerian senior football national team, Ahmed Musa, was earlier on Friday, mobbed by excited fans at the federal capital territory, Abuja, when he visited a Mosque for prayers.

After scoring a double and making the country proud at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, Super Eagles star, Ahmed Musa, returned to the country and was mobbed by excited fans as he paid a visit to the National Mosque in Abuja to observe the Juma’ah Prayers on Friday.
The Leicester City star who is on loan to CSKA Moskow, was captured on camera as he was surrounded by fans who showed their appreciation for his efforts and that of his team members during their World Cup matches.
It was reported earlier today that Super Eagles players have been leaving their Essentuki Camp Base in Russia in trickles following Tuesday’s exit of Nigeria from the 2018 FIFA World Cup after 1-2 loss to Argentina.
Players who have had their early exit from the camp include team captain Mikel Obi, Odion Ighalo, Victor Moses, Kelechi Iheanacho, Leon Balogun, Alex Iwobi, Kenneth Omeruo and Tyronne Ebuehi.
Ahmed Musa, joined the elite class of players, winning the Budweiser Man of the Match at the FIFA World Cup in Russia after his brace against Iceland.
The Nigerian No. 7 also wrote his name in the history books after he became the second African player to score a World Cup brace, after Roger Milla in 1990.
